Francisco Esteban Bernal is a partner at Zurbarán Abogados, cohead of the Commercial Law Department. His practice within the firm focuses on Corporate Law, M&A, commercial contracts, and legal management of judicial and arbitration procedures related to corporate and contract law.
He received his Law degree from the University of Seville (class of 2006), specializing in Private Law. Subsequently, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Advisory Services from the Cajasol Institute of Legal and Business Studies (class of 2007).
He has been practicing law since 2007. Before becoming an associate at Zurbarán Abogados, he worked at Montero Aramburu as an associate in the Commercial Law Department for 11 years.
He is a member of the Board of Directors as a secretary or vice secretary of various companies and foundations to which he provides recurring advice.
In the academic field, he is a member of the examining board and professor of Foundations and Limited Companies in the Cajasol Master’s Degree in Legal Consultancy Program. He is also a professor of the Corporate Expert Course organized by the Department of Commercial Law of the University of Seville in the area of Annual Financial Statements and a Professor of the course on Venture Capital given at the Cajasol Institute focusing on disinvestments. He is also a mentor at Andalucía Open Future (El Cubo) in corporate and contract law, and a mentor at Fundación Res, in corporate and contract law.
