Ricardo Torres García is a partner in the Commercial Department at Zurbarán Abogados. His practice within the firm focuses on Commercial Law, private equity, and financial transactions.
He received his Law degree from the University of Seville (class of 2004), specializing in corporate law.
He has been practicing law since 2005. Prior to joining Zurbarán Abogados in 2021, he was founder and associate at [A]CODE ABOGADOS.
He has pursued several postgraduate studies in law, finance, and private equity, including the “Legal Bridge to Silicon Valley,” with a stay in the United States, and the “Venture Capital Executive program,” both at IE Law School.
He is Secretary of the Board of Directors of companies in various fields, mainly in the technology sector.
He is Secretary of the Ibero-American Institute of Law and Finance.
In the academic field, he is an associate professor of Commercial Law at the Chamber of Commerce of Seville. He is also co-director and professor of the Venture Capital program at the Cajasol Institute of Legal and Business Studies.
He is a regular speaker at various courses and seminars related to his practice areas and the author of several doctrinal publications.
